A Stronger Digital Experience With New CXO, Design Lead and Head of Data & AI
Today we announce a series of strategic hires and leadership changes designed to cement our consultancy's position in UX, design and digital business development. As part of a broader commitment to uniting creativity with deep insight, Asbjørn Poulsen has been appointed Chief Experience Officer (CXO), while the department gains senior talent with specialist focus on data, AI and design.

A Strategic Upgrade of the Customer Experience
Asbjørn Poulsen, who joined Kruso in January 2025 as Creative Director, steps into the role of CXO. The appointment reflects Kruso's ambition to elevate the company's deliverables to a level where user experience forms the foundation of every technical solution.
"My goal as CXO is to break down the silos between the technical foundation and creative execution. By bringing our capabilities together under a unified experience umbrella, we ensure that the digital solutions we build for our clients don't just work technically — they create real value through exceptional user experiences," says Asbjørn Poulsen.

Data as a Creative Driver
To support this vision, Kruso is making a significant internal change. Victor Ackerhans moves into the role of Head of Data & AI, reporting to Asbjørn Poulsen. The shift marks an important step in the tech-consultancy's efforts to make data an integrated part of the design process.
"We're seeing growing demand for solutions that are validated by data rather than gut instinct, and that can draw genuine commercial benefit from AI in automation workflows. My primary task as Head of Data & AI will be to bridge the gap between large data sets and concrete design work — making our consulting offering far more impactful," explains Victor Ackerhans.

A Strengthened Design Team With In-House Experience
Kruso is also bringing in fresh talent with the appointment of Yuan Jiang as Creative Director. Yuan is a familiar face at the company, having spent the past year working as a freelancer across a wide range of Kruso's projects. Her move to a permanent position ensures continuity and maintains a high professional standard for the company's visual identity. It also addresses a real client need that generic AI-generated design simply cannot meet — one that requires genuine judgment and aesthetic sensibility.

Part of a Broader Strategic Direction
For CEO Lars Ørum, these moves represent a natural step in Kruso's evolution as a strategic partner for complex digital businesses.
"Appointing Asbjørn as CXO, along with the new senior roles, is a direct investment in our core offering. We want to be the tech-consultancy that best understands the intersection of data, business and design. With this team in place, we have the ideal foundation to help our clients navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape," says Lars Ørum.
