Husted Vin is a Danish wine retailer and hospitality business with a distinctive brand universe shaped by specialist knowledge, strong personality, and a clear commercial ambition. With wine shops, restaurants, and a growing digital presence, the company operates across both inspiration and commerce in a market where customer experience and brand identity matter.

Red, white, bubbles, natural, orange? Husted Vin has wine for all tastes. Today, the wine universe consists of several different restaurants and four wine shops around Copenhagen. Husted Vin prides itself on not being like others in the restaurant industry. Something that should shine through on their digital platforms too! Have a toast and let’s dive in!!

Growth in Every Single Drop

Over the past few years, Husted Vin has experienced steady growth, which meant they outgrew their previous digital solution. The technical setup made simple workflows unnecessarily complicated and, in many ways, hindered further growth.

In other words, Husted needed a technical overhaul that could unify the digital business and future-proof continued growth.

At Kruso, we emphasized finding the right system to meet Husted's current needs and future challenges. The choice fell on DynamicWeb!

DynamicWeb: The perfect all-in-one platform

DynamicWeb is an all-in-one platform that combines PIM, CMS, the commerce engine, and marketing in one place. The perfect setup for Husted Vin. Unlike a headless setup, there is no need to spend time and effort fetching and integrating third-party systems to make them all work together. With DynamicWeb, this is given, which has helped make the project seamless and efficient. Additionally, DynamicWeb differentiates itself from other all-in-one platforms by having the UX and UI engine built-in as well. This makes it easy for content editors to create new pages with drag-and-drop from a selected range of components and modules, which are tailored to fit Husted's DNA.

B2B Setup with Unique Customer Lists

Husted Vin's business can be divided into two: B2C and B2B. For B2B, each customer has unique price lists and offers that are agreed upon internally. With a multitude of business customers, this creates an enormous data catalog that can be nearly impossible to manage.

To solve this, we use the ERP system Uniconta to exchange price lists with DynamicWeb. This way, we gather all customer and price lists so that each business customer is presented for their specific agreement.

Unique User Experiences in Rock'n'Roll Style

In addition to a stable technical foundation, the new commerce platform needed a design update. The new site should be imbued with Husted's DNA while ensuring a simple and transparent user journey. On one hand, it should be quick and easy to make a purchase, but at the same time, we wanted to give the user the opportunity to be inspired by other wines and read about specific regions and grapes they might not be familiar with.

Through workshops and ongoing communication, we created a user flow where the user is guided through the purchasing process – while also creating and expanding Husted's visual identity within new frameworks.
